Buck Spring Plantation Park is located just 5 minutes south of the lake on Nathaniel Macon Drive (off Eaton Ferry Road). The mountain bike trails at Buck Spring are natural forest floor and 'hand cut' offering a real woods experience. Two loops provide almost 4 miles of trail - Enter the Graveyard loop by riding past the playground along the treeline top the far corner of the field. The trails are best ridden counter clockwise (ie turn right as you enter the trail). 2/10's of a mile into the Graveyard loop, stay left to continue on Graveyard or cross the dirt road to add 1.3 miles to your ride on the Rockpile loop. Rockpile will return you right where you entered - cross the road and pick up Graveyard to continue on your way.
