Road Ride - 69 mile loop. One of my favorite rides - this is the "West Gaston" loop that will take you west along the south side of the lake to Kerr dam then return you on the north side *without* using the narrow & busy Rt903! Beautiful views out on Kerr lake - but 4,000 of elevation change on this loop - plan accordingly. Restrooms at kerr dam visitor center. Fuel up in Bracey/I85. There are also small general stores at Wise Five Forks & Rt 1 (just slightly past the turn up Paschall road). Also a general store at Redlawn & Rt1 (just south on Rt1).
